The fair runs as a full-week event each fall, typically the last full week of September. General admission gets you access to the grounds, exhibit halls, livestock barns, and the midway. Concert tickets for headline acts are purchased separately and often sell out well in advance, so booking early is strongly recommended.
Rides range from classic midway staples for young kids to high-speed thrill rides for the adrenaline crowd. The food scene is a destination in itself, with dozens of vendors covering everything from classic Pennsylvania fair food like pierogies and sausage sandwiches to novelty items you'll only find at a fair this size. Exhibit competitions in crafts, baking, agriculture, and livestock give local participants a chance to show their best work to a massive audience.
Parking is available on and around the fairgrounds, with shuttle options from remote lots during peak days. The grounds at Bloomsburg are largely flat and walkable, though comfortable shoes are non-negotiable for a full day.
